ORDINARY PEOPLE

The story of a family trying to cope with the accidental death of one son, and the other son’s subsequent suicide attempt. The brittle suburban mother is unable to show any love for her surviving son. She does not have to say that the one who drowned was her favorite; no one could fail to notice her inability to connect to her surviving son.
